Extended School Provision

debbie-cox-photo-150x150We are extremely proud to be able to support children in extended schools care from the age of four years old and upwards. We have been able to collaborate with parents, carers and children in order to maximise the provision that we provide and cater for the needs and interests of the children at our school. We are still open to ideas from outside agencies, parents and children in order to provide an extensive and personalised extended schools provision. Please do get in touch with Debbie Cox our extended schools leader to find out more information.

If you have any friends or family members who are interested in being involved in the after school provision here at Whitehall Park or if they know reliable and engaging club leaders then please get in touch with me here.

Additional information

Please could all children be sent to school with suitable (labled) clothing for their after school club that day. E.g. if your child has been signed up for football then they will need their PE kit or exercise clothes and strong trainers. It is not appropriate for them to go to the football club in school shoes. if you child is signed up for Arts and Crafts then old clothes are suitable.

Please note that Apres school clubs finish at 5pm therefore could parents and carers arrive at 4.55pm to collect their children. It is important that children complete the full hour of each club as there is often a plenery at the end of each session to allow children to evaluate their learning.

While we are based at Mount Carmel for the Autumn 2016 term, all children will need to be collected from Twilight club at 6pm.

Paying for extended school

In an attempt to remove all cash and cheques from school we are asking all parents to only use our e-payment method to pay for school trips, After School Clubs etc. This can be done online using a very secure website called ParentPay.

Parents who pay by Childcare Vouchers (CCV) will pay as usual but you will need to send confirmation of the amount paid to Marion at office@whitehallparkschool.org.uk each time you make a payment.

All parents who wish to make use of After School Club, Twilight Clubs or Breakfast will need to activate their Parent Pay account. Please remember there is no automatic renewal of clubs.

Please note if you have not cleared your account from the previous term you will not be allowed to book future school clubs for your child until your account is cleared.

Payments should be made at the beginning of the term before the club commences, your child may not be able to join the club if evidence of the payment is not given.

Once the club is booked payments are non-refundable.

If you would like your child to take part in any of the After School Activities but feel that you may need an alternative payment plan, please email Debra Cox or pop into the office to organise this as soon as possible.
We do have a small bursary and donation fund that is intended to be used to support families who find it more difficult to pay for additional activities.
